Franciscan Action Network has partnered with Citrix Online's GoToMeeting online meeting and webinar service as a way of utilizing the internet to engage in collaborative conversation using the latest internet technologies.

Downloading the software for webinars and online meetings

When you register for one of our webinars or online meetings for the first time, you may wish to download the small piece of software from GoToMeeting to prepare for the webinar or meeting. (You do not have to do this because you will be prompted to install it on your system at the time of the webinar or meeting as well, but it is recommended to make sure everything runs smoothly, especially if the computer on which you will view the webinar is located behind a corporate firewall.)

To download this small and safe program, simply click here and you will be redirected to the GoToMeeting download page. After you download the program, an orange flower may appear on the bottom of your screen (in the Windows system tray or the Macintosh program dock). This indicates the program has installed correctly. You do NOT need to click or use the menu on the flower icon (simply ignore the instructions on the download page). The program just needs to be installed and sits idle until you join our webinar or meeting.

Citrix Online has provided a two page PDF downloadable reference guide for using the GoToWebinar interface during a webinar.  Please take a moment to download this reference and review it prior to participating in a webinar.
