As a member of the Coalition of Catholic Organizations Against Human Trafficking the Franciscan Action Network has been a part of the planning of a special intercultural mass happening on Saturday, February 8th at St. Camillus Church in Silver Spring, MD.
The afternoon will consist of prayer and communion for victims and survivors of modern-day slavery who are often "hidden in plain sight." We hope attendees will become inspired to act in solidarity with those who suffer in silence as we observe the International Day of Prayer and Awareness against Human Trafficking and the Feast Day of St. Josephine Bakhita.
WHEN: Saturday, February 8, 2020
WHERE: St. Camillus Catholic Church
1600 St. Camillus Drive
Silver Spring, MD
Reception to follow, please RSVP to MRSTraff@usccb.org.
