FAN Signs Letter Urging Opposition to Border Militarization

FAN is proud to be one of many faith-based organizations to sign-on a letter urging Congress to oppose the ‘border wall’ and other forms of border militarization and any efforts to fund such proposals. The letter highlights the many negative and intersectional impacts of the proposed ‘wall’ and increased border militarization along the U.S./Mexico border. The impacts included in the letter, for example migration, the environment, border communities, indigenous communities, and financial cost, are deeply harmful and far-reaching. This letter is an important opportunity to show the cross-cutting, damaging nature of these proposals and highlight the strong faith voice.
